Outdoor Classroom
Belle View Elementary School’s unique schoolyard property has allowed us to develop outdoor learning stations to enhance student learning and support the Virginia’s Standards of Learning. Our goal is to foster students’ stewardship for their environment.
We have approximately twenty outdoor learning spaces including a vegetable garden, reading garden, native wetland, amphitheater, and running track. Throughout the school year we host Community Garden Days and have a big Earth Week celebration.
