End of Year SMARTR Outcome
By the end of the 2020-2021 school year, all students will participate in at least two Project-Based Learning (PBL) activities.
Strategy 1: CLT’s will create meaningful and rigorous learning experiences for students by embedding CCT strategies within PBL’s.
Strategy 2: Ensure all students have access to rigorous instruction on a regular basis, and provide all students with necessary supports to ensure success with PBL activities.
Strategy 3: Students will have the opportunity to access Advanced Academic curriculum resources (Tier 1 Access to Rigor).
End of Year SMARTR Outcome
By June11, 2021, 85% of students will demonstrate growth in one or more skills on the Portrait of a Graduate (POG) Communicator rubric.
Strategy 1: Teachers will integrate instruction on POG Communicator skills into their classrooms.
Strategy 2: Teachers will collaborate to ensure students are receiving differentiated instruction that meets their individual needs.
End of Year SMARTR Outcome
During the 2020-2021 school year 100% of students will have access to Tier 1 Social Emotional Learning (SEL) instruction through FCPS approved SEL curriculum resources. Tier 2 and Tier 3 SEL supports will be provided to select students as needed.
Strategy 1: Classroom teachers will integrate FCPS approved resources or lesson plans at least once per month, and daily “check ins” as part of Morning Meeting and/or closure.
Strategy 2: Select students will have access to Tier 3 staff to student mentoring and/or Tier 2 small group SEL instruction.
